after visit ritigala return to sigiriya. in the afternoon visit sigiriya lion rock OR pidurangala ancient forest monastery, and climb the famous lion rock fortress. and also ancient paintings.

This is 5 th century B.C. called lion rock is citadale of unusual beauty up to 200 m, built by king kashyapa ( 477-495 A.D. ) which is a world heritage site declared by since 1982 with rock fortress, the world famous, which is a rock inter most stronghold of about 70 hectares fortified town, this place with a large stone and ancient rock fortress surrounded by the remain of an extensive garden , reservoirs , and other structures. a popular tourist destination. also renowned for it ancient frescos painting.

History of pidurangala flows beyond the 1&2 century B.C. pidurangala was used as a monastery from those days. but this place become a prominant buddhist monastery during the king kashyapa time ( 477-495 AD ) some believe that sigiriya also a buddhist monastery before the king kashyapa time once he decided to build his fortress in sigiriya , he requested the monk to move to pidurangala and had contributed lot of the development of it. it is believed that the " uppalawanna kashyapa giri viharaya " which was constructed by king kashyapa was located in the pidurangala.

DAY - 3:

After brekfast ( 8.00 am ) proceed to dambulla and visit dambulla rock cave's temple.

Dambulla cave temple also know as the golden temple of dambulla is a world heritage site declared by since 1991. King walagamba return to the throne at Anuradahapura kingdom in the 1 st centure B.C. he had a magnificent rock temple built at dambulla, in gratitude to the monk in dambulla , it is the largest and best preserved temple a most impressive place of sri lanka, the rock 160 m over the surrounding plains , more than 85 caves in the surrounding area. major attractions are spread over 5 cave's.

After visit continue to mahiyangana, en route stop at wasgamuwa national park

wild elephant , leopards , sloth bear , monkey , loris , hornbills , and sambar deer , are found, is a classic range of wild life , and a lush forest by the mahaweli river.

After visit national park proceed to mahiyangana.

DAY - 4:

After breakfast ( 8.00 am ) proceed to dambana aborigine village

Adivasi chieftain ( head of aborigin ) of sri lanka lives here and it is possible to have a chat with those people if one reach the destination. to understand about their culture and traditions.

DAY - 5:

On the following morning able to witness the sunrise over the hills , which is an amazing science and after smooth canoeing with the breath taking science , all over.
